This PREMIUM kit is MADE IN THE USA and includes: ONE Hi-Temp/Hi-Pressure Shut off Valve, ONE 4" Hi-Temp/Hi Pressure Heater Hose, THREE Stainless Steel Smooth Edge Band Clamps that WILL NOT cut into your hoses This Kit includes a 4" section of high quality heater hose so you do not need to cut or modify your OEM heater hose to install this valve. Install the supplied valve at the END of your OEM hose and then attach the valve and supplied 4" hose to your engine outlet. On some vehicles it will not be easily accessible to install this kit on the engine side of the heater inlet hose. If this is your case you can also install the bypass kit on the fitting at the firewall where the inlet hose attaches.

• This kit stops hot coolant from flowing to your heater core from the engine thus not allowing hot air to blend with the cold air behind the dash. This is often caused by a faulty blend door or simply a poor design from the vehicle manufacturer. This kit will NOT fix a non-functioning air conditioner. This kit simply blocks hot air from being introduced into a function air conditioning system. If you have a problem with hot air bleeding into your A/C system you can expect this kit to allow your A/C to blow 8°-15° cooler at the vents!

• Easy 5 Minute Install. Locate your heater core inlet hose. There will be two hoses coming from the firewall. One is the heater core "in" and the other is the "out". This kit MUST be installed on the "IN" hose. Follow the hoses from the firewall and install this kit on the other end. Remove the vehicle heater hose from the port on the engine and install the supplied hose, valve, and clamps. This kit can be installed on either end of the heater IN hose. SEE PHOTOS TO THE LEFT.

• This kit DOES fit 5/8" hoses. It does take a little M-A-N to get a 5/8" hose on the nipple, if you can't get it on you probabaly shouldn't be working on vehicles or perhaps you should get your wife to help you. A little soapy water might also help.
