This mushroom side table is carved from a single solid-wood trunk. The wide, round live edge top flows into a tapered hourglass pedestal base that narrows at the center and flares at the root for stability. The shape comes from the wood itself, not from assembly or lamination.
No two pieces look the same. The grain radiates from the center of the pedestal, and every knot, burl, and growth ring stays visible. Our Vietnamese artisans carve and sand each table by hand.

Small (14"D x 18"H): Fits tight spaces, works as a plant stand or drink table beside a reading chair.
Medium (18"D x 22"H): Standard side table height. Good next to a sofa or bed.
Large (22"D x 24"H): More surface area for a lamp, books, and a glass. Works as a nightstand.
Extra Large (28"D x 26"H): Statement piece. Enough room to use as a small coffee table or display surface.
The tabletop and base are carved from the same solid wood trunk. No joints, no veneer, no separate parts glued together. The wood grain runs continuously from top to bottom.
The tabletop keeps its natural live edge perimeter. The outline is slightly irregular, different from every angle. If you like this look, check our coffee tables for larger live edge surfaces.
The base is hand-shaped into a pinched, waist-like form. Wide at the cap, narrow at the neck, flared at the root. This is the mushroom silhouette that gives the table its name.
A hand-applied oil finish brings out the grain and protects the surface. Smooth to the touch, warm honey-to-amber tones that shift in natural light. No plastic lacquer.
Nightstand, living room side table, plant stand, accent table in an entryway. Pairs well with linen, rattan, stone, and other natural textures. Fits Japandi, boho, organic modern, or rustic interiors.
Most mushroom end tables on the market are either tree stump stools with flat cuts or assembled pieces with separate tops and bases. This one is carved from a single trunk into a true hourglass form with a live edge top. Our artisans spend days shaping each piece by hand. That is the difference between a stool and a sculptural side table.
